More than 70 officers, first responders, and public servants were recognized at the SFPD Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Awards. Honoring these heroes for their outstanding use of CIT principles in critical moments. Congratulations to our honorees!

As part of the 19th Avenue Paving and Rehabilitation project, Caltrans will be repaving the southbound and northbound lanes along 19th Avenue between Holloway Avenue and Sloat Boulevard. Parking along this stretch of 19th will be temporarily removed to facilitate the work and Muni service in the area will be affected.

Fix-It Week is Monday – Thursday, May 18 - 21, 2026, with early closures of the Muni Metro tunnel starting at 9:30 p.m. To help people navigate during the early closures, there will be signage posted at stations and stops, audio announcements, and ambassadors available at key locations. Muni service plan during Fix-It Week hours (9:30pm - 12am):

• KLM Bus Shuttle will serve all Muni Metro stops between Steuart/Market and St. Francis Circle.
• N Judah Bus will serve between Duboce/Church and Caltrain.
• J and N trains will operate as a combined "interlined" route between Balboa Park and Ocean Beach for both directions with a switchover at Church/Duboce.
• K and M trains will operate between Balboa Park and St. Francis Circle.
• L Taraval will operate as a bus substitution between West Portal and Wawona/46th. The L Buses will use the regular L Taraval train stops for boarding and drop-off.
• T Third train will run its regular schedule between Sunnydale and Chinatown.
