This Kyiv Day, we’re sharing six places that tell the story of a city that has changed, resisted, and continued to live through more than a millennium 💙💛

Сьогодні були раді вітати у Генеральному консульстві України в Сан-Франциско керівника відділу міжнародної співпраці Командування Медичних сил Збройних Сил України ЗСУ Івана Стецка та засновницю благодійного фонду Soldiers Ukraine - Irina Vashchuk Discipio.

Домовились, що будемо разом точково працювати з компаніями із Кремнієвої долини для підтримки військових госпіталів України, а саме для посилення технічних спроможностей медичних підрозділів та забезпечення наших лікарів сучасними рішеннями.

Підтримка ЗСУ та медичної системи України була і залишається одним із ключових пріоритетів Міністерство закордонних справ України / MFA of Ukraine Andrij Sybiha та роботи Генконсульства у Сан-Франциско.

We were pleased to welcome to the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco the Head of International Cooperation of the Medical Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ivan Stetsko, and the founder of Revived Soldiers Ukraine, Irina Vashchuk Discipio.

We agreed to work together with selected Silicon Valley companies to support Ukraine’s military hospitals, particularly by strengthening the technical capabilities of medical units and providing Ukrainian doctors with modern medical solutions and equipment.

Supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Ukraine’s medical system has been and remains one of the key priorities of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, as well as our work of the Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco.

Russia’s losses in its war against Ukraine have already exceeded 1.3 million killed and wounded. For any normal country, such figures would be a political shock and a reason to reassess. But not for Russia. No level of casualties seems to act as a limit for the Kremlin, which continues to disregard human life.

This is why the world cannot wait for Russia to stop on its own. It must be forced to stop. Only strong, united international actions – political, military, and economic – can change its course. Over more than four years of its full-scale war, Russia has failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives. It is time to increase pressure on Russia to stop its aggression.

У травні команда Генерального консульства України в Сан-Франциско провела дві виїзні консульські сесії - у м. Портленд, штат Орегон, та м. Сакраменто, штат Каліфорнія.

Наші співвітчизники мали можливість подати документи на оформлення паспортів громадянина України для виїзду за кордон, а також отримати консультації та роз’яснення з актуальних консульських питань.

Ми щиро вдячні нашим партнерам - Ukrainian Foundation , Voice of Hope Christian Church, Ukrainian American House — а також усім волонтерам, які допомогли організувати ці виїзні консульські обслуговування та зробити консульські послуги доступнішими для української громади.

Just as Oleksandr Usyk secured his historic victory over Rico Verhoeven, Russia launched a massive combined attack on Ukraine. Right after the fight, Usyk immediately emphasized that he was fully aware of what was happening back home.

Ukrainian Spring Film Marathon - Kobzarka: A Frontline Operetta "Kobzarka" follows an aspiring Ukrainian singer who trades stardom for the frontline, performing for defenders for her nation's survival.

Over the years of its war of aggression, Russia has suffered massive losses, failed to achieve any of its strategic objectives, and has been significantly weakened. It is time for the world to increase pressure on Moscow to compel Russia to make peace.

Ukraine never sought this war, and we continue working with our partners to bring it to an end. We remain open to diplomatic and political solutions and will use every opportunity to restore a just and lasting peace.

At the same time, as long as Russia continues its aggression and pursues the destruction of our state, Ukraine will keep strengthening its defence and increasing the cost of the war for the aggressor.

Vyshyvanka is a symbol of Ukraine’s identity, strength, and enduring traditions, that connects Ukrainians around the world.

Today, Consul General of Ukriane Dmytro Kushneruk and the team of Consulate General of Ukraine in San Francisco have traditionally joined the Ukrainian-American community in San Francisco to mark this special day.

We are also excited about the special celebration of Vyshyvanka heritage with special guest - Lesia Voroniuk, founder of the Vyshyvanka Day.
