Our Mini Olympics fundraiser kicks off today!!

We can’t wait to see you go for the gold with us this year. Fundraising starts today and the event itself will be at JOES Friday October 9rd. Save the date if you would like to volunteer at the event - more info coming on that soon.

Our goal for the Mini Olympics fundraiser is to raise $50 per student and reach (or exceed) the school-wide goal of $20,000! Our second goal is to see 100% participation - that’s every student getting out there and competing and raising money. The money we raise for this event benefits our school directly.

Hello JOES Families! If you haven’t already, please fill out the Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF). It only takes less than 5 minutes. (see link in bio or visit https://www.sfusd.edu/services/health-wellness/nutrition-school-meals/apply)

Just a little bit of your time will help the school unlock more funding opportunities.
We are aiming for 100% participation so that we can have accurate information about the JOES community.

BONUS: If we reach 100% participation rate, we can earn our students a no homework day! :)

================
More info:

The Multipurpose Family Income Form (MFIF) is a simple form that families complete once a year to report household income. It helps schools access funding to provide students with valuable benefits.
This information informs the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF), which determines school funding for academic programs and services. In other words, the more students who are income eligible that complete the form, the more money goes to our school!
