The Club had the pleasure of holding today’s meeting at the Discovery Center of Savannah on the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus.
We enjoyed hearing from our fellow Rotarians at Thomas & Hutton as they reflected on 80 years of leadership, service, and impact across our region and beyond.
We also heard from Dr. Desma Patterson of Brock Elementary School about the incredible impact United Way of the Coastal Empire’s Reading United Buddies program is making in the lives of students.

The club heard from Chris Brand with Friends of Disabled Adults and Children about the work they do here in Georgia and around the world. We also welcomed (back) Johnathon Barrett as a new member. Next week's meeting is at the JA of Georgia Discovery Center at the Armstrong Campus of Georgia Southern.

Another great Monday at Rotary!
We were honored to welcome Sarah Porter, Chapter Director of Gray’s Reef National Marine Sanctuary, as our guest speaker. She shared valuable insight on the importance of protecting our coastal ecosystem and the impact it has on our region.
Thank you for an engaging and informative presentation, and for the work you do to preserve one of Georgia’s natural treasures. 🌊
