You take personal responsibility for your comments, your username, and any other information provided. To facilitate the purposes of the social-media platforms, Comments may be removed if they contain, constitute, or link to:
 Malicious or harmful software;
 Advertisements, promotions, or solicitations of a commercial product or service;
 The disclosure of confidential information or the invasion of an individual’s privacy;
 Profanity, nudity, indecency, obscenity or graphic violence;
 Sexual harassment;
 Harassment on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or age;
 Threats of violence or to public safety;
 The promotion of terrorist groups and activity;
 Defamatory content;
 Copyrighted materials in violation of State or federal law;
 The publication of content subject to legal prohibitions that restrict or limit publication
 Disruptively repetitive content;
 Communications and comments that are wholly unrelated to the subject matter of the posts appearing on the platform;
 Political campaigning. Any content removed pursuant to this Policy will be retained for one year. Some issues may be referred to Facebook for violation of Community Standards and removal. Users may be temporarily or permanently restricted from accessing the social-media
platform if they repeatedly and consistently violate this Policy. If a user has five comments removed for a violation of standards in a 30-day period of time, the user will be banned from the page for a period of 30 days. To contest the restriction of access to a social-media platform, the user must submit to the Office of the Assistant Board Attorney – [email protected] - a
written statement providing grounds for reinstatement. Requests shall be responded to on a reasonably timely basis, and access shall be restored if it is determined that the grounds for reinstatement are sufficient. A statement that the user will abide by this policy in the future shall be sufficient, except when a user has continued to violate the policy after having made such a statement. Our social media accounts are not monitored 24/7. If you’re a student in crisis, or have an emergency, please call 911. We update and monitor social media accounts intermittently throughout the day—from 7:30 a.m. At times, our accounts may be used before and after these times to communicate about urgent issues or respond to inquiries from members of the public. We welcome your comments and questions, but please ensure you do not include personal information or photos of others without their consent. All comments related to district business will be considered public records subject to disclosure upon request. - SCCPSS's Engagement and Outreach department thanked our volunteers with a year-end breakfast gathering.
- Volunteers play a daily crucial role in the success of our students serving in various roles including mentoring, literacy and many other areas of expertise.
- Our school system works with several thousand active volunteers annually.

🏫📚💯 2026 Retirement Ceremony: Flournoy, Williams-Walker and Taylor dedicate 11 decades of service to SCCPSS

- SCCPSS celebrated its 2026 retirees at a ceremony at Savannah Tech.
- Antoinette Flournoy served as a kindergarten paraprofessional for 39 years.
- Gwendolyn Williams-Walker finished up a 36-year career with SCCPSS as a head custodian.
- Kathleen Taylor wrapped up her SCCPSS career as principal at May Howard Elementary School.

Thank you to Georgia Pacific for supporting our students! Two Jenkins High seniors have been awarded $2500 scholarships by the company based on school grades, discipline reports and an essay entry. Congratulations to Crystal Zheng and Oneillia Thomas. Family members accepted the scholarships on their behalf while the students attended graduation practice.

🏫💓🩺 Landmark 24 Homes donates three medical training kits to school system

- The donation was through the American Heart Association.
- Rice Creek School, Southwest Middle School and Garrison School for the Arts will receive the newest CPR in Schools With First Aid Training Kits.
- Since January of 2023 school and district nurses have training nearly 2,000 staff and students.
