Teamwork and collaboration in child welfare are the unified efforts of social workers, educators, medical staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals working to support vulnerable families. Because the challenges confronting at-risk children—such as trauma, poverty, and mental health are deeply interconnected, no single professional can address them alone. Effective collaboration allows these multidisciplinary teams to share critical case data, pool specialized resources, and construct a cohesive safety net that wraps around the child. By breaking down organizational barriers and integrating the voices of families and youth, cross-agency teamwork ensures faster intervention, more holistic care, and a system where no child slips through the cracks. We are thankful to the Child Advocacy Center of Central Oklahoma for providing continued training to all the professionals who continue to show up for and advocate for children, we are proud to work with each of you. 💙

Thankful for CPN Police Department for showing up and helping out!

Shortly after 10am this morning, Officers with the Citizen Potawatomi Nation Police Department were contacted by a member of the CPN Indian Child Welfare staff informing us that they had a flat tire and would like our assistance.

Due to the vehicle being stopped on the shoulder of the on-ramp to Interstate 40, Officer Stoll swiftly responded to assist. Officer Stoll was able to quickly get the tire changed and get the motorist on their way!

You may recognize Officer Stoll from our recent post regarding him being top of his class while attending a Police Bicycle Certification course.

Officer Stoll continues to show unwavering dedication to serving our community!

Sometimes the greatest gift you can give a child is a safe place to belong.
Opening your home to foster care doesn't require perfection, just a caring heart and a willingness to make a difference.
If you've ever considered helping a child in need, we'd love to talk with you about becoming a foster parent.
Send us a message, Call (405)878-4831 or email [email protected] 🩵💙🤍
