Picture it: morning coffee at a sidewalk table, a little shade from a new tree, and a street that actually feels made for people. 🌳 That's what we're building in Old Town.

We know construction can be a lot β€” so here's what you need to know:

βœ… El Camino Real & Main Street are being rebuilt into a more walkable, people-first corridor
βœ… 7 new parklets will bring outdoor seating & gathering space to local shops, cafes & restaurants
βœ… 90 trees planted, 45 more than before
βœ… Every business and parking lot stays open the entire time

Most of the work wraps by early October β€” just in time for Tustin Tiller Days. πŸŽ‰

🍩 National Donut Day just got a whole lot sweeter in Tustin! 🍩

We rolled up to DK's Donuts (1082 Irvine Blvd) and surprised the locals with free donuts, but only if they were following the City of Tustin on social media!

A huge thank you to all the great Tustin folks who came in, followed us, and enjoyed a free, fresh donut on us. This is what community is all about: good vibes and great donuts!

🀫PRO TIP: DK's Donuts & Bakery has a drive-thru for when you have that donut craving but don’t want to get out of the car. 🚘

Who else is celebrating National Donut Day? Drop your favorite donut flavor or Tustin donut shop below πŸ‘‡ and tag a friend who you want to go get donuts with!

πŸŽ‰ Tustin Proudly Supports the Orange County Rescue Mission

Tustin is proud to be home to one of the most impactful organizations in Orange County, the Orange County Rescue Mission. For years, they’ve been providing a genuine hand-up to individuals and families facing homelessness, addiction, domestic violence, and other life challenges.

Through comprehensive, long-term support that includes sobriety programs, mental and physical health services, counseling, legal assistance, vocational training, and high school education, the Rescue Mission helps people rebuild their lives and move toward independence and self-sufficiency.

We joined Orange County Rescue Mission to help celebrate another milestone with their Career Launch event, honoring a new cohort of graduates who completed the program and are stepping into employment and brighter futures.

We’re grateful for the life-changing work happening right here in our city. If you or someone you know is in need of resources, visit rescuemission.org to learn more or make a referral.
