Arizona State University and UC Irvine are conducting an online research study seeking U.S. service members and veterans who have experienced unwanted sexual contact or an attempted sexual assault by another service member.

The study aims to better understand these experiences and contribute to research that may help inform support for others who have been affected.

To learn more, complete the initial screening, or ask questions, contact the research team at [email protected].

Eligible participants will receive a $3 gift card for completing the screening and an additional $20 gift card for completing the online study.

Help us honor and celebrate our veterans! Join the Veterans Day Ceremony on November 11 at 11:00 AM at Eisenhower Park.

Come together to recognize the service and sacrifice of those who have served our country. Join with community members, veterans, and local leaders at the beachside park, featuring a formal color guard presentation, live musical performances of the National Anthem and other patriotic tributes, and a series of guest keynote speakers.

Continuing our Working Group Spotlight series, we're proud to introduce the Older Adult Veterans Working Group, led by Patty Barnett Mouton.

The group is dedicated to supporting older adult veterans and their families, particularly those experiencing isolation or who are homebound. Through benefits navigation, caregiver resources, referrals, social opportunities, and community support, the group helps veterans and their families stay connected and improve their quality of life.

Veterans can access free family law guidance at the OCBA Family Law Section Pro Bono Expo on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 1:30–4:30 PM at the Great Room at Tierney Center for Veterans Services in Tustin.

Veterans can receive a free 1-hour family law consultation or limited/basic document assistance from a volunteer family law attorney.

This Veterans Day, let’s come together to honor the men and women who have served our country and recognize the courage, dedication, and sacrifices they have made for our freedom.

The City of Mission Viejo invites the community to attend its Veterans Day Ceremony on Wednesday, November 11, 8:30 AM at Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way, Mission Viejo as we pay tribute to our veterans and show our appreciation for their service.

A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
