This morning, we wanted to show our bus drivers a token of our appreciation for all they do! Mrs. Moss our Principal, was able to snap a few pictures with some of the bus drivers, but all were given a Chick Fil A breakfast and drink! We Appreciate You; Thank you for all you do!💕

We couldn’t leave out our teachers who wore their festive and vibrant colored costumes today as well.

Our W.G. Nunn students wore their cute and heroic costumes today, and had smiles on their faces as they visited classrooms to fill their goodie bags with sweet treats. And now parents, we are sending them back home to you with their bellies filled with sweets! 😊

Today, 5th grade is showing up in every color, but our hearts are a little heavier. 💔🖍️ Though we’re missing a beautiful part of our team, we know she’d want us to keep smiling, loving, and bringing color into the lives of others. So here’s to honoring her memory, celebrating the bond we share, and looking cute while doing it! 🌈🖍️💐 Forever a part of our picture. ❤️

Ms. Dupree was more than an educator. She was a cherished member of our WG Nunn family, and her kindness, warm smile, and love for others touched countless students, colleagues, and families. For more than 20 years, she dedicated herself to serving our school community with unwavering commitment and compassion.

As a teacher leader within our school and across the district, Ms. Dupree shaped instructional practices, supported fellow educators, and inspired generations of students. Her legacy will continue through the children she taught, the relationships she built, and the many lives she touched.

As our W.G. Nunn family grieves this tremendous loss, we want to remind families that our school counselors are available to provide comfort, guidance, and support to any students, faculty, or staff members who may be struggling. Please reach out if you or your child need additional support during this difficult time.

We extend our deepest condolences to Ms. Dupree’s family, friends, colleagues, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Please keep her family and our entire W.G. Nunn community in your thoughts in the days ahead.

Once a Wildcat, Always a Wildcat.
