Today, we kicked off the beginning of Summit and ADCs 50th anniversary celebration. Our event housed nearly 900 attendees, coming together to share ideas and hear from defense leaders like Assistant Secretary of War for Energy, Installations & Environment Dale Marks and Patrick O'Brien. Here are a few snapshots of day 1.

At today's 2:30 general session, OLDCC's Patrick O'Brien will host a town hall fielding questions on how to best take advantage of federal resources. Attendees will get to directly engage to learn how to best use OLDCC resources in their communities.

Two big events. One historical anniversary. Today begins a very special Summit. Alongside the annual event, we are fortunate to celebrate five decades of the Association of Defense Communities. From discussions of the future of defense, recognizing the support from our communities, and lively entertainment, this week will be jam packed with everything American defense communities.

The stage is set.
