For ITS America's 35th anniversary, we're highlighting the innovation in the rich history of trucking. 🚚
In the early 1900s, trucking freight emerged as a way to move goods and strengthen the US economy.
Since then, the trucking industry continuously adapted to meet the needs of today, integrating essential tech like GPS, electronic tolling, and weigh station bypassing. ⏩
With these innovations, trucking has become the backbone for the American supply chain. 💪
And we're only just beginning.
Smart solutions are being increasingly integrated into vehicles across the nation — and some are even creating entirely autonomous fleets!
These investments will increase safety for all roadway users, ensure supply chain resiliency, and increase freight efficiency.
