Today, I once again stood shoulder to shoulder with my friend and fraternity brother, Gov. Wes Moore of Maryland and told him that I have his back, and the backs of VP Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in this upcoming election.

We all need to get out and vote in the upcoming election. Black men, especially, need to understand that a vote for Harris/Walz is a vote for our future. I am urging all Black men and especially my fellow North Carolinians to vote Harris/Walz. We can make history at home and throughout the country that will shape policy and politics for all of our communities, for the better.

Join me and the Alpha PAC as we support the historic Harris/Walz ticket for President and Vice President. Let's also keep the NC Governor's office Blue.

It was my pleasure as Chairman of the Alpha Political Action Committee (Alpha PAC), the 35th General President of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. along with 33rd General President Harry E. Johnson, Sr., General President Willis Lonzer, Southwest Region Vice President Jermaine Netherly, and many other brothers and friends to attend and support my good friend and Alpha brother Dr. Freddie Haynes, III at his installation as President of Rainbow PUSH and the President's Inaugural Social Justice Conference in Dallas, TX.

It was great to see longtime friends, activists and advocates for justice supporting Dr. Haynes. Rainbow PUSH is in good hands and will no doubt have a tremendous impact in communities with Freddie at the helm.
