Karoo Experience is a hunting, eco tourism, and game breeding business situated in the De Aar district. For some decades now we have dedicated ourselves to restoring game in the Karoo to its former glory by breeding superior springbok and reintroducing most of the wild life originally found in the Karoo. We have established the following purebred bloodlines on our property.
-Damaraland
-Eastern Namibian
-Western Namibian
-Kalahari
In addition to this we also breed some of the color variations of springbok. We have supplied satisfied clients all over South Africa with the best genetics one can find. We are very proud of and excited about what we have achieved with our springbok breeding projects. At Karoo Experience we have a loyal following of hunting clients who returns to the Karoo every year. Our hunting season is fully booked a year in advance with repeat customers looking for the Karoo Experience. Karoo Experience is also the home of the endangered and very elusive Black footed cat. At present there is an ongoing research program with German and American involvement. Although we are hunters we pride ourselves on being very serious about conservation. This includes not only the bigger animals, but all the small mammals, birds, and reptiles which form such an important part of the fragile Karoo ecosystem and our heritage.
