The eThekwini Maritime Cluster’s 4th Annual Golf Day culminated in a gala dinner and prize-giving ceremony, where awards were given for 1st to 3rd place, Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive, Best Female Team, and Best Dressed.

The Golf Day was a great success. Thank you to all sponsors, partners, and participants whose contributions helped make the event a memorable occasion at Cotswold Downs Golf and Country Estate.

The eThekwini Maritime Cluster on 28 May 2026 hosted its 16th Annual General Meeting. A notable outcome of the AGM is that the cluster has achieved a clean unqualified audit for the 16th consecutive year. We are proud of this achievement!

A passionate SMME champion, Ndlela leads with heart, driving transformation, inclusion, and customer-centred innovation across South Africa’s growing safety industry.

With more than 20 years at Dormac Marine and Engineering, Daryl Girodo has built a distinguished career as Marketing Manager for one of Africa’s leading ship repair and marine engineering companies. Armed with two Advanced Diplomas from Lloyd’s Maritime Institute in Cargo Surveying and Cargo Damage Claims, Daryl brings deep technical knowledge to his marketing role. His two-decade tenure at Dormac reflects unwavering dedication to South Africa’s maritime industry and to Durban’s standing as a world-class ship repair hub.
