Our preschool staff will be attending the Day of Action in Lismore this Wednesday. We would love families to join with us too!
This day is about advocating for the benefits, values and importance of the community based preschool model, and paying qualified and dedicated staff appropriately to implement the best early childhood programs for children.
The NSW Government have said they don't fund wages, but will spend $100 million to make changes to what our valued community preschools look like in the future.

Did you see our wonderful teachers and educators in their various shades of pink today, advocating for fair funding for fair wages in community preschools?

Media Release ⚡️ Community preschools across NSW are turning pink today as they call on the state government to provide fair funding for long overdue pay rises.

Teachers and educators are wearing pink and decorating their preschools as they ramp up their fight for fair funding to save community preschools.

The action comes after the Fair Work Commission (FWC) ordered the NSW government back to the bargaining table with the IEU, United Workers Union and employer group Community Early Learning Australia on 23 March. More than 100 community preschools are part of the proceedings.

The FWC on 16 February accepted the union’s evidence and recommended the state government take all necessary action, including to review and increase funding for community preschools to address the pay disparity between preschool staff and their colleagues in schools.

It's Vegie Month! We have lots of veg-based learning expereinces planned at Preschool and we'd love families to get involved too by taking up the weekly challenges.

Veggie Month will run in Early Childhood Education and Care Services over the next 4 weeks. Each week we will share a challenge for families and a veggie packed recipe!

We encourage all families to participate in these challenges.

This week's challenge is to involve your children in preparing vegetables.
