ASSEMBLY WEEK 6 | Congratulations to our week 6 award winners! Great work to all our classes that presented what they've been working on in class this term. We hope everyone has a great weekend and we'll see everyone next week.

PLAYGROUP | Ararat Community Play Group will be hosted in the Learning Centre on the first Monday of each month.

WALK TO SCHOOL DAY & EDUCATION WEEK SHOWCASE | What a busy morning we've had! Thank you to all our parents and family members that met us at the town hall this morning to walk to school. A big thank you from all of Ararat Primary School to the local police, highway patrol, SES and fire services for helping make sure we all got to school safe this morning.

Once we arrived at school we had plenty of fun in our classrooms as part of this years Education Week "Showcase your School" theme. Our parents were invited to participate in outdoor games with the Preps and their grade 5 buddies. Our 1/2 students took their special people into the classroom to show how they spend their day. The 3/4s showcased some of the awesome work they have been doing with music, dance and some musical fractions. And our grade 6 students put on their hard hats and challenged their parents to a tower building competition.

Thank you again to all of our awesome families that came along to support your children and celebrate what we do at Ararat Primary School.

WALK TO SCHOOL DAY & EDUCATION WEEK SHOWCASE | On Friday 22nd May, we will be running our annual Walk to School Day. Students will meet at the town hall at 8:20 and walk to school accompanied by local emergency services.

From 9:00AM - 9:50AM we will be presenting a classroom showcase, where families are invited to walk between classrooms. Parents and students will will be competing in challenges as part 2026 Education Week "Showcase your School".

We would like to invite all families to be apart of the day and we hope to see you next Friday.

KRISPY KREME DONUT DRIVE | Ararat Primary School Council has organised a Krispy Kreme donut drive. All funds raised will be going towards new furniture for our Grade 5/6 classrooms.

Order forms are avaliable from the front office, and copies will be sent home with students by the end of the week.

All order forms are to be returned by Wednesday 10th June
Orders must be picked up on Friday 19th June from the front office

PREP INFORMATION NIGHT | Tonight from 6:00PM to 7:00PM we're hosting our annual prep information night. Come along and find out what Ararat Primary School can offer your child.
