Welcome to Hamilton State School – a school that is over a 100 years young. Since 1907, Hamilton State School has provided quality educational opportunities for the Hamilton/Ascot community. Our school prides itself on the personal nature of a small school, where close relationships are built between the students, staff and parents. The wonderful family atmosphere and community spirit are second to none. Hamilton State School is a lovely small school located in a quiet suburban street. The heritage trees and building highlight the traditions of the past, yet the upgrading of information communication technologies and our brand new library, emphasise a school moving into the future. I encourage you to visit our school and to experience the unique educational environment Hamilton State School has to offer.

Congratulations to our school captains who prepared and delivered a short presentation today at the Queensland Academy of Creative Industries, as a culmination to the 2026 City Collective Student Leadership Program.

They also had a chance to acknowledge and thank their high school mentors, Charlotte and Jess, for all of their help along the way.
Next step, sourcing our school honour board for the office foyer!
