Last week, our Year 11 Outdoor Education students headed out to Cathedral Ranges for an unforgettable few days in the bush.

The students spent several days hiking both circuits, scrambling rocks, camping under the stars and cooking together as a team. The kind of experience that builds character, connection and memories that last well beyond the classroom.

The Year 9 students are beating the cold mornings thanks to Hot Choc Fridays!

Every Friday morning we’ll be serving FREE hot chocolates to keep you warm before class!

Make sure you’re on time to school and swing by for a hot choc before the day starts.

Every leader has a dream, and dream we did on Phillip Island. Our student leaders engaged in leadership development workshops, collaborated on projects and stepped up and outside the square on this 3 day camp. Students challenged themselves, demonstrated the RISE values, and reached peak success at the summit of Clip n Climb.

We are so proud of our student leadership team, of what they bring, what they do and who they become through the student leadership program.

A time for all Australians to reflect on this painful history, honour the strength and resilience of the survivors and commit to ongoing truth-telling and healing.

What an incredible week for our Gleneagles High Performance Football Program as we celebrated women in football alongside our partner club Melbourne City FC Women during their Grand Final week!

On Friday, our female football students had the amazing opportunity to head down to Casey Fields where they trained on the elite facilities with Melbourne City coaches, received a tour of the facilities at CFA, watched the MCFC Women’s team train and met the players for a chat ahead of the big game.

Then on Saturday, a number of Gleneagles students proudly represented the program as ball kids for the Grand Final - an unforgettable experience made even better with Melbourne City claiming a 3-1 victory over Wellington Phoenix FC Women!

A fantastic week showcasing the growth, opportunities and inspiration surrounding women’s soccer. We’re proud to continue building strong pathways and experiences for our students through our partnership with Melbourne City FC Women.

Gleneagles Professional Learning Day!

Today, with the beautiful backdrop of South Yarra and in partnership with .vic, all staff spent the day learning together to further support our amazing students.
A special mention goes to Ms Lee for organising our professional development day and bringing the whole school together. It was a great day!

What a start to our High Ability Maths program!

Over the last few weeks students from neighbouring primary schools, who have been selected from their schools for working at an advanced level in Maths, have joined us in our High Ability Maths Program. The primary students, with the support from our senior students from SEAL, have jumped into problem based learning, solving tricky maths problems in creative ways. We’ll keep building our high order thinking skills and tackling real world application problems!

What an amazing evening at our Year 7 Celebration and Exhibition Night!

Our Year 7 students proudly showcased their hard work, creativity and achievements from across the year.

A huge thank you to all families, staff and students who attended and helped make the evening such a success. We are incredibly proud of all that our Year 7 students have achieved so far this year and look forward to seeing their continued success throughout the year ahead! 👏

Congratulations to year 7 and 8 SEAL students James, Shiv, Meshavi, Alexander, Bobby, Alex, Srikar, Zanelle and Aayan on their selection for the Victorian High Ability Program (VHAP) in English and Maths this term.

The department identifies students for participation in VHAP based on a combination of NAPLAN data and teacher judgement data. We are very proud of our students' achievement.
