Join us for the Nancy Hillier OAM Memorial Lecture 2026, honouring one of Botany’s most fearless advocates for environmental and social justice.

This year’s theme, ‘Opening Doors: First Nations Knowledge, Culture and Our Shared Futures’, invites our community to come together to listen, learn and consider the future we share.

Hear from David Johnson, Cianna Walker, Kodie Mason and Jordan Ardler, with MC Chris Mercer guiding the evening.

Nominations are now open for the 2027 Bayside Citizen of the Year Awards, celebrating individuals who contribute to the Bayside community and give others something to be proud of.

Nominations are open across three categories:

🌟 Young Citizen of the Year
🏆 Sportsperson of the Year

They include a Cocktail Making Workshop with Scylla & The Bespoke Bartender, a Cheese and W**e Pairing with Anna Polyviou, and a Gin and Cheese Pairing with Three Blind Mice and Banks & Solander.

Help shape a new space for young people at Heslehurst Reserve 🌳

Bayside Council is seeking feedback on a proposed youth precinct designed for being active, hanging out, relaxing, getting creative and connecting with others.

We want to hear from young people, families, residents and park users about what matters to them before the design is finalised.
