At the Global Partnerships Conference Minister Seema Malhotra spoke about the UK’s modern development partnership with Bangladesh, with Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir & Mahdi Amin.

British High Commissioner Sarah Cooke met the Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Zahir Uddin Swapan and State Minister, Yasser Khan Choudhury to discuss the importance of media freedom and a trusted information environment in Bangladesh, alongside UK support for media reform and efforts to counter disinformation.

UK Trade Envoy Baroness Winterton hosted Education Minister, A.N.M. Ehsanul Hoque Milon, at the House of Lords. They reflected on outcomes from the Education World Forum and discussed UK support for Bangladesh’s ambition to become a regional hub for education and skills.
