I am beyond excited to announce the launch of Bean Bag communities. Because the real dream was never about just coffee or play. It was about creating a place where parents could find community, feel less alone, and recharge.

Mom Group 🌸
A welcoming space for moms to meet, make new friends, and find connection. Each week, moms can book into the designated play session and spend time together while little ones play nearby.

Dad Group 🌿
A space for dads to connect, especially during parental leave, and spend time with other families in a similar stage of life. Simply book into the weekly play session and join us.

Bumps & Strollers Club 🤰
For expecting parents and those with babies in strollers. Meet for coffee or tea, then head out together for a relaxed neighbourhood walk and fresh air.

These groups are meant to be flexible, low-pressure, and easy to fit into real life. There are no memberships or commitments and no guilt if you miss a week, just a welcoming place to connect with other parents.

Participation in the communities themselves is completely free. For the Mom and Dad Groups, families simply book play as usual during the designated meetup time. For Bumps and Strollers, meet up at Bean Bag, grab a coffee and set out on your stroll!

Mother's day is often filled with flowers and praise and gratitude for all that moms do and all they give, as well it should be. But today I wanted to say to you and all the mamas out there, that we are special because we are only human. That being overwhelmed or tired or flawed or limited doesn't make us bad moms, it makes us real moms.

I hope you see the beauty in you as a mother in every moment. From the biggest wins to the lowest lows. 'Mom' isn't a title you earn from being perfect, it is an absolutely precious, integral part of you that belongs to you exactly as you are 💖

One of our favorite games in the cafe is taking guesses at what the littles will invent next. Sometimes it's "put all the pretend groceries up in the play structure" day, sometimes it's "build a magnatile train for the stuffed animals" day, and some days, well... it's "rearrange all the furniture" day 😜
