The Consulate General of Jamaica Toronto wishes to share an important update with all members of our community regarding fees for consular services, effective April 1, 2026.

These adjustments come after many years without change and reflect gradual increases in costs, particularly postage, since the existing fees were set in 2012. We remain committed to delivering efficient, professional, and courteous service to everyone we serve.

Payment Options:
• Cash or debit card (in-person applicants only)
• Bank draft or money order (for mail-in applications within the GTHA)

Please note that all applications submitted on or after the effective date will attract the revised fees. We encourage all clients to take note of these updates when preparing submissions.

Thank you for your continued understanding and support 💛💚🖤

Last night’s Jamaican Canadian Business Forum 2026 was a highly impactful evening of connection, learning, and practical exchange for entrepreneurs across the GTA.

Entrepreneurs openly shared their stories and lived experiences, raised ideas for collaboration, and explored ways to strengthen Jamaican-led enterprises. There was strong interest in doing business in Jamaica, and meaningful synergies emerged around trade, investment, market entry, and cross-border partnerships.

The forum reinforced the importance of creating intentional spaces to mobilise the Jamaican Diaspora towards entrepreneurship and to deepen commercial engagement between Jamaica and Canada. We are committed to building on this momentum and will be hosting more engagements to channel continued support for the Jamaican-Canadian business community.

Sincere thanks to our partners BDC, JAMPRO, ACBN, and to the JCA for hosting and supporting this important engagement.
