For many 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, finding someone who truly understands them can change everything.
One trans mentee shared how meaningful it was to see their mentor, who is a trans adult, thriving in a happy, healthy relationship while pursuing their education and building a life they are proud of.
Before entering the program, the mentee’s parent said their child rarely spoke about the future, unsure of what was possible for them.
But through that connection, something shifted.
Inspired by their mentor’s journey, the mentee began to imagine a future of their own and decided to pursue a post-secondary degree in the arts.
