Tomorrow, the 8th of May, is celebrated as the Victory Day. However, this Victory did not bring freedom to Estonia and other Baltic States. For them the Soviet Union was an occupier, not a liberator.

We had a very inspiring meeting this morning as we welcomed the participants of the Prague Student Summit at the Embassy.

Today we celebrate Estonian Language Day. The language which has only about one milion speakers. If you want to learn some, try to say this:

🌎 For all young Estonians who live abroad. Come, see and enjoy!

🌍 Global Estonian praktikaprogramm kutsub taas välismaal elavaid Eesti noori kandideerima!

Kui süda tõmbab Eestisse ja tahaks korraks päriselt näha, mis tunne on siin töötada, õppida ja elu elada, siis see programm on just selleks loodud.

🎒 Mida pakume?
Stipendiumi, et tulla Eestisse 4 nädalaks või kauemaks ja teha päris erialast praktikat.
Ehk teisisõnu: tule, õpi, katseta elu Eestis.

✨ Kandideerida saavad:
• noored vanuses 18–35, kes on välismaal üles kasvanud või elanud vähemalt viimased 5 aastat
• praktika toimub ajavahemikus 1. mai – 30. november 2026
• stipendium: 1 800 € (4–6 nädalat) või 3 000 € (7+ nädalat)
• vajadusel lisandub reisitoetus
