Lyme Disease is on the rise in Scotland, it’s usually mild but can be serious if not treated.
Remember to check for ticks after playing outside – particularly if you’ve been in the garden, the park or in town or woodlands ⚽🌳🛝
These little critters attach to skin underneath clothing, they are very small and can be hard to spot. Doing a full body check is extremely important 🔍
If you have young children, why not make a fun game out of checking for ticks – by having a good look then tickling for lots of giggles? 😻
To find out more and for guidance on how to remove ticks, visit ➡️ nhsinform.scot/lyme-disease
