To celebrate our 25th anniversary year, we've teamed up with The Good Spirits Co. and The Glasgow Distillery Co. to create our very own limited-edition single malt whisky.

Limited to just 306 bottles, this special release celebrates the character, culture and creative spirit of our city, with a rich and smoky peated flavour and a unique finish from a rare Italian Recioto wine cask.

You can pick up a bottle from our gift shop while stocks last.

Fancy a taste? Guests at our Science of Whisky event on 24 July will be able to enjoy a dram under the stars in our planetarium and discover the science behind whisky production, alcohol and astronomy.

🎉 In celebration of 25 years of creating curiosity, we're offering free entry to the Science Mall* for residents of the G42 community on the weekend of 20 and 21 June 2026. (This weekend!)

We’re proud of our work with community groups across the area, helping to bring science to life for everyone. Now, we're opening up the doors to even more people across the G42 community to explore what's inside.

👀 Come and enjoy three floors packed with “so that’s how it works!”, “I didn’t know that!”, and “let me try that!”. With over 300 interactive exhibits, you’ll push, pull, tap, and bash your way through hands-on science and discovery.

If you’ve never visited before, or it’s been a while since your last trip, this is the perfect chance to come along and see what’s happening inside our Clydeside building.

🚀 Glasgow had some truly stellar visitors recently...

NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Mike Baker, alongside engineer Tricia Mack, joined us at the science centre for another inspiring Space School Day.

The trio shared their career journeys and incredible stories from their time in space, inspiring more than 200 pupils to think big about their own futures.

A huge thank you to the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Strathclyde for helping make this out-of-this-world day possible.
