On Saturday at 1640hrs officers from the East Area Proactive team were heading off A13, when another car passed them whilst inhaling nitrous oxide.

Three occupants of the car were searched, and officers seized herbal cannabis and believed Class A drugs, also nitrous oxide canisters and weapons.

1 man and 2 women were arrested for drug offences

Investigation continues.

Last week, Rick from Eastbrook and Rush Green SNT supported the launch of Barking & Dagenham’s Junior Citizen programme, helping Year 6 pupils stay safe.

As part of Knife Crime Awareness Week, Chadwell Heath Officers conducted a weapon sweep in Bagleys Spring & Rams Grove following reports of groups gathering the previous evening.
