ELFT's East Ham Care Centre ran an information stall for Dementia Action Week, from 18 to 24 May, as part of the programme of activities across to provide information and support for patients, members of the public, carers and staff.

Admiral Nurse, Tracy Connellan, led the stall and also supported events in the borough including the dementia social club "Lemonade Days" in and a day centre for people with dementia and their carers in Chargeable Lane.

Earlier this month, Riley Marks, Racheal Howison, and Daljit Marway were invited to be guest lecturers and share their lived experience with Nursing Associate students at City St George's University, London. Our trio and the students got so much out of the experience. The insights the students have acquired now are second to none. Such a great basis for their nursing careers.
