Arnold Lane & Mini Roundabout Resurfacing work is outstanding. Really pleased to be able to see this work completed here for residents as it was in such an appalling state of neglect. Further works coming up on Shearing Hill

Woodborough.... You're up soon... Standby!

Have a great weekend everyone!

The Socialist Worker headline for you regarding Ann Widdecombe. This ladies and gentlemen is the left's way. They actively celebrate and rejoice in people's death. Sickening.

Truly shocked and upset to hear that Ann Widdecomb has been murdered with an arrest now made. One of the most honest and true conservative conviction politicians of our times.

At yesterdays full council, I presented a petition onbehalf of many Wooodborough Residents, requesting the introduction of a 20 mph speed limit through the village to improve road safety.

I've spent time this morning over a cuppa with Ann, Ben & Pete from The Friary in West Bridgford, Nottingham, being shown around the great charity and hearing about the vital work that they do in the community.

Originally, setup by Ann 38 years ago, they empower homeless and vulnerable adults to rebuild their lives by offering practical services, advice and emotional support.

They cater for the needs of the most vulnerable in our society by supporting people into recovery and advocating for those without a voice. Every year the charity caters for 15,000 visits from local people who are suffering the effects of homelessness, substance misuse, financial destitution and social isolation.

Sadly, homelessness and its causes are not disappearing from society and more than ever the work that the Friary do and their wonderful staff and volunteers is needed more than ever.

I'm truly humbled by the work that they do.

Today marks ten years since the Brexit referendum.
On 23 June 2016, 17.4 million people voted to leave the European Union, the largest vote ever cast for a single outcome in a UK referendum.

Across the country, people made a democratic choice that would shape Britain's future for generations.

Here in Gedling and Sherwood, residents voted overwhelmingly to Leave the European Union.

How would you vote if the referendum were held today? (non binding of course 😉)

This morning at County Hall we marked Armed Forces Week with the raising of the Armed Forces Day flag at County Hall.
It's a moment to recognise the dedication, courage and professionalism of the men and women who serve our country, along with the veterans who have served before them and the families who support them every step of the way.

This Reform UK administration is dedicated to working with and supporting our brave armed forces and their families and we are proud and honoured to do so.
