Northampton will mark Remembrance Sunday this Sunday, 8th November, with a military parade from the Market Square at 9.30am, followed by a Service of Remembrance at All Saints' Church, Northampton beginning at 10am, and a wreath-laying ceremony in the Town and County War Memorial Garden on Wood Hill at approximately 10.55am.

The Last Post will be sounded, followed by a two-minute silence at 11am. The parade will reform at 11.45am.

Organised by Northampton Town Council in partnership with the Royal British Legion and All Saints' Church, Northampton, the commemorations will bring together serving Armed Forces personnel, veterans, cadets, community and youth organisations, alongside members of the public, to remember and honour those who have given their lives in service.

✨CHILDREN’S WRISTBANDS SCHEME:

Located next to Event Control by the pedestrian entrance to the Racecourse from the Pavilion Car Park, there will be a marquee where families can collect children’s wristbands. Please write your mobile contact number on the neon wristband at the marquee and attach to your child’s wrist.

This scheme will enable personnel to easily and quickly reunite little ones if they get lost or separated from their family during the event, ensuring everyone gets home safely.

The marquee is kindly being managed by volunteers from Northampton Street Pastors.

If you require any assistance at any time, please ask the stewards who will be able to help you.
