Advance Work Notice – Bawburgh Road, Bawburgh – Road Closure
Upcoming Works
As part of our work to prepare for construction of the Hornsea Three cable route, we will be installing access points across the length of the route. These access points allow for our construction traffic to access the works area via the public road system.
To facilitate these works, we will be temporarily closing Bawburgh Road, Bawburgh between the following dates:
Tuesday 1 September to Monday 7 September 2026, at all times.
During this time a temporary diversion route will be in place. The diversion route can be found overleaf. Bawburgh Road will be closed to through traffic, but local access will be maintained, up to where the team is working.
If you are concerned about accessing your property during this time, please contact us using the details at the end of this letter.
If you have any questions about the map provided, or would like to request a clearer version, please contact us on the number or email provided overleaf.
What to expect
You might see us working on site during the day. Our working hours are 7:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, and 7:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays.
Some low-level noise from onsite machinery during working hours.

About us
The Ørsted vision is a world that runs entirely on green energy. Ørsted develops, constructs, and operates offshore and onshore wind farms, solar farms, energy storage facilities, renewable hydrogen and green fuels facilities, and bioenergy plants.
The Hornsea Three wind farm received development consent in December 2020. Hornsea Three, once complete, could provide clean power to over three million UK homes. It will make a significant contribution towards meeting the UK’s net zero commitments and we’re committed to working closely with stakeholders and local communities as we take the project forward.
