Students in the BVI Asia Abroad Scholarship Programme; supported by staff at the BVI Hong Kong Office, recently participated in the annual University of St. Jospeh International Cultural Carnival 2026 in Macao. BVI students studying in Macao showcased the vibrant culture of the Virgin Islands through food, music, dance and games.

🇻🇬🔮In honour of Chinese New Year, the Lion recently paid a courtesy visit to the British Virgin Islands Hong Kong Representative Office performing the Lion Dance.

The Lion Dance is a vibrant traditional dance primarily performed during Chinese New Year designed to bring good luck, fortune and prosperity. In true cultural exchange the BVI Hong Kong office welcomed the lion with traditional gifts. 🐲🇭🇰
