Ahmedabad Medical Association, in association with the AMA Senior Citizen Club, successfully organized a meaningful and engaging programme for senior citizens on 29th March 2026 at AMA.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Senior Citizen Club members, Ladies Club members, AMA members, and their spouses—truly reflecting the spirit of togetherness and community.

Insightful scientific sessions formed the core of the programme:
* Dr. Urman Dhruv spoke on “Ageing with dignity, acceptance, and wisdom”
* Dr. Abhay S. Dixit inspired with “Change from ‘I’ to ‘We’”
* Dr. Dhiren Mehta highlighted laws and benefits for senior citizens
* Dr. Ravi Soni addressed loneliness and ways to overcome it

A lively skit presentation added warmth and relatability, delivering meaningful social messages in an engaging manner.

The programme concluded with fellowship lunch, fostering bonding and strengthening community ties.

With 200+ participants, the event stood as a strong reflection of AMA’s commitment to promoting healthy, active, and dignified ageing, along with emotional wellbeing and social harmony.

✨ Grand Revision of Medicine – A Grand Success! ✨

Ahmedabad Medical Association successfully conducted the Grand Revision of Medicine on 4th April 2026 at AMA Hall, Ashram Road.

👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️ The session covered Long Cases, Short Cases & Table Discussions, providing a complete and exam-oriented revision for Final MBBS students.

📢 AMA LIVEWELLCON 2026 – A Grand Success!

AMA LIVEWELLCON 2026 concluded on a high note with an overwhelming participation of 900+ doctors, making it one of the most impactful conferences hosted by the Ahmedabad Medical Association.

Aligned with the theme “Beyond Scalpel & Stethoscope”, the conference focused on the evolving role of doctors beyond clinical practice. The sessions on communication skills, fitness, financial literacy, along with unique topics like Bhagwad Gita and humour in medicine, received an excellent response from delegates.

A key highlight of the event was the Medical Value Travel Stakeholder Consultation, conducted in collaboration with Gujarat Tourism, marking an important step towards positioning Ahmedabad and Gujarat as a global hub for medical tourism.
