በ2026ቱ የአፍሪካ ቀን አከባበር ላይ
በአቡጃ የኢ.ፌ.ድ.ሪ. ኤምባሲ እ.ኤ.አ. ሜይ 25 ቀን 2018 ዓ.ም የናይጄሪያ ውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስቴር አስተባባሪነት በአቡጃ ከተማ በተካሄደው የ2026ቱ የአፍሪካ ቀን አከባበር ላይ በደማቅ ሁኔታ ተሳትፎ ተደርጓል።

ቀኑን ምክንያት በማድረግ የአፍሪካ ባህላዊ ትውፊቶችን ለማስተዋወቅ በተዘጋጀው ፕሮግራም ላይ የአገራችንን ባህላዊ ምግቦች እና ባህላዊ የቡና አፈላል ስነ-ሥርዓት እንዲሁም የቱሪዝም መስህቦቻችንን በደመቀ ሁኔታ ማስተዋወቅ ተችሏል።

በፕሮግራሙ ላይ የናይጄሪያ ፌደራላዊ ሪፐብሊክ የውጭ ጉዳይ ሚኒስትር Her Excellency Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu ጨምሮ የናይጄሪያ ባለስልጣናት እንዲሁም የተለያዩ የአፍሪካ አገራት የዲፕሎማቲክ ሚሲዮን መሪዎች እና ተጋባዥ የክብር እንግዶች ተገኝተዋል።

The Embassy of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Abuja proudly participated in the 2026 African Day Celebration held on May 25th at the AFREXIM Bank African Trade Centre. Iቦn response to the diplomatic call to showcase continental heritage, the Ethiopian stand drew widespread admiration by presenting an authentic array of traditional Ethiopian cuisines and hosting a traditional Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony. The vibrant display offered attendees a true taste of Ethiopia's renowned hospitality and deep-rooted cultural legacy.

The prestigious event was graced by the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Her Excellency Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, alongside heads of various African diplomatic missions.

State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera, paid a courtesy call on Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, for discussions on further enhancing the bilateral relations between Ethiopia and Qatar.

During the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed their commitment to promoting a mutually beneficial partnership through regular political consultations, enhanced economic cooperation, and increased private sector investment.

The two sides also exchanged views on advancing joint efforts aimed at promoting regional peace and security in the Horn of Africa, the Gulf region, and beyond.
