The Rotaract Club of Pokhara is pleased to inform all members and participants that we have been honored to invite Sharu Bhakta, a distinguished literary figure and Madan Puraskar award winner, as a special guest for our upcoming “किताब मन्थन” programme.
Mr. Bhakta’s remarkable contribution to Nepali literature and his long-standing engagement with social, philosophical, and cultural themes have inspired generations of readers. His presence at “किताब मन्थन” will greatly enrich the session by offering deeper insights, critical perspectives, and valuable reflections on literature and society.
We believe that this special edition of Kitaab Manthan will be a meaningful opportunity for participants to engage in thoughtful dialogue, gain inspiration from an eminent literary personality, and strengthen the culture of reading and intellectual exchange. We sincerely encourage all members and participants to attend the programme and actively take part in this enriching literary conversation.

Rotaract Club of Pokhara hereby announces the “किताब मन्थन” (Book Review Session), an initiative aimed at promoting reading culture and intellectual dialogue among members and the wider community.
In a time when reading needs to move beyond individual reflection into shared dialogue, “किताब मन्थन” is designed as a space to exchange ideas, perspectives, and experiences through books. The session encourages participants to reflect on what they have read and engage in meaningful conversation, transforming reading into collective learning. Through this initiative, we aim to promote a culture of thoughtful discussion, critical thinking, and mutual learning among members and the wider community.
📌 Format of Book Manthan
• Individual book review presentation
• Any book of choice is accepted
• 10 minutes allocated per participant
• Focus on main ideas, themes, reflections, and implications
• Brief discussion and interaction (time permitting)
📍 Venue: Readers’ Corner, Pokhara New Road
🕓 Time: 3:00 PM
🗓️ Date: This Friday (On the auspicious occasion of Saraswati Puja)
📌 Open to everyone
📚 Book lovers are welcome—please share this post and invite friends.
Participants are requested to be ready with a book they would like to share.

Rotaract Club of Pokhara successfully conducted the 10th Edition of “Nyano Karyakram” at Indreni Basic School, Dhital, Okhari Machhapurche, Ward No. 06.

The program was graced by the warm and valuable presence of students, guardians, teachers, and Rotaract members, making the initiative truly meaningful and inclusive. Rooted in our theme of Partnership and Social Well-Being, this project aimed to strengthen community bonds and promote participatory engagement at the grassroots level.

The day was filled with joy and connection through cultural dances, friendly chitchats, village strolls, and shared laughter—reminding us that service is most impactful when done together.

This initiative stands as a small yet significant step toward a participatory approach, fostering togetherness, empathy, and sustainable community relationships.

Rtr Pabin Poudel, from a general member in 2021/22 to Service Project Chair in 2022/23, Treasurer in 2023/24 and Secretary in 2024/25 and the current Vice President, has been elected as the President for Rota Year 2026/27. His inspiring journey reflects dedication and leadership, serving as motivation for young Rotaractors.
