PiES Scouts Promote Kindness, Safety, and Leadership

Pinget Elementary School conducted “Scouts for Kindness, Safety, and Adventure: Living the Scout Promise and Law Through Anti-Bullying Awareness” on October 15, 2026, in celebration of Scouting Month and in support of National School Safety Week.

The activity gathered Kid Scouts, Kab Scouts, Boy Scouts, Scout Leaders, and several parents to promote kindness, respect, safety, and bullying prevention. The discussion also featured the school’s Yell and Tell initiative, which encourages learners to speak up against bullying, report incidents, and seek help from trusted adults.

Meanwhile, the Boy Scouts participated in the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Election of Officers, facilitated by John Kimmayong, where several scouts were elected to leadership positions. This provided them with an opportunity to develop their leadership skills and promote a drug-free lifestyle among their peers.

Through these activities, the school continues to strengthen its commitment to child protection, responsible leadership, and a safe, respectful, and drug-free school environment.

October 3, 2026 – Sa bawat paglahok, may tagumpay.

Congratulations, Lovella, Liam, at Clint! Patuloy na mangarap, matuto, at magningning! 👏✨

🍎✨ A Tribute to the Hearts of Our School ✨🍎

Today, our teachers took a well-deserved step back as our HPTA presidents and classroom parent volunteers temporarily took over the role of teaching our learners this afternoon. While classes continued, the SELG officers prepared a heartfelt Teachers' Day program to celebrate and honor the mentors who tirelessly shape young minds every day.

The sweetest moments came when teachers returned to their classrooms and were greeted with warm surprises, thoughtful gestures, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude from their learners. Smiles, laughter, and appreciation filled every room, making the celebration truly memorable.

The day concluded with shared snacks and fellowship among teachers, learners, and volunteer parents in each classroom.

Happy Teachers' Day to our amazing educators! 🌷📚 Your patience, dedication, and love continue to inspire generations and make our school a place where dreams begin. 💙
