🇵🇭 GENSAN’S GERARD MOSQUERA NAMED DOLE OIC UNDERSECRETARY

General Santos City’s Atty. Gerard A. Mosquera has been designated as Officer-in-Charge of the Office of the Undersecretary for Labor Relations, Policy and International Affairs Cluster and Regional Operations Cluster of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

A graduate of Notre Dame of Dadiangas University and Ateneo de Manila University, Mosquera has built an impressive record in public service and legal education, serving as Commissioner of the Presidential Commission on Good Government (PCGG), Deputy Ombudsman, and Dean of the Notre Dame of Marbel University College of Law.

His latest designation places another distinguished son of General Santos City in a key leadership role helping shape labor policies and programs nationwide.

The City Peace and Order Council held its 2nd Joint Meeting at ICON Venue and Suites on May 28, 2026, to enhance inter-agency coordination and address pressing concerns, including shooting incidents, anti-insurgency efforts, public safety initiatives, tricycle subsidy issues, energy crisis responses, and updates on the El Niño phenomenon.

Attendees included representatives from the General Santos City Police Office, Task Force GenSan, Department of Interior and Local Government, City Disasters Risk Reduction Management Office, City Public Information Office, City Health Office, Public Safety Office, City Social Welfare and Development Office, Dr. Jorge P. Royeca City Hospital, and Civil Society Organizations.

Nakiisa rin ang Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office-XII sa pangunguna ni OIC-RTD for Operations Ray Embajador, kasama si Assistant Regional Director Omar Sabal ng BFAR XII.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay pagbibigay pugay sa lahat ng ating mga magsasaka at mangingisda sa patuloy na pagtataguyod ng maayos na hanapbuhay at patuloy na pagbibigay pagkain sa bawat pamilyang Pilipino. Maraming salamat po sa inyo!

The ceremony, led by Department of Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado M. Estrella III, highlighted the ceremonial distribution of electronic land titles (E-Titles), Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROM), and the turnover of farm machineries and agricultural equipment held at Lagao Gym.

Masayang umaga ang ating nasaksihan kanina sa Barangay South ng ang ating mga mahal na mga mangingisda ay lumahok sa iba’t ibang laro: lumba bugsay, boat tug-of-war, game fishing at ibang parlor games.

Kasama ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng gobyerno na pinangungunahan ng ating City Agriculturist Office headed by Ma’am Elsie Villanueva, tayo ay nagbigay ng mensahe para sa ating butihing Mayor Lorelie Geronimo Pacquiao.
