Seagrass meadows donโt thrive aloneโthey flourish when mangroves and coral reefs are healthy.
Mangroves trap sediment and filter pollution from land โก๏ธ Seagrass meadows need that clean, calm water to photosynthesize and grow โก๏ธ Coral reefs then benefit from clearer waters offshore. ๐ค
Mangroves, seagrass, and coral reefs form a connected coastal ecosystem. When we protect one, we strengthen the entire system. We protect OUR system.
