The energy stayed at an all-time high as we kicked off another morning at the Ramon M. Durano Sr. Foundation! Everyone started the day with a heart-pumping exercise session to wake up the senses and get the momentum going.
Right after, it was straight to the ultimate test: the Amazing Race! Our youth navigated through a series of grueling challenges and physical obstacles that tested their grit, speed, and teamwork. It wasnโt just about being the fastest, it was about how they managed to stay united and win over every hurdle in their path.
Watching the Mandauehanon youth tackle every station with such passion and strategy proves that no obstacle is too big when you move as one!

After a day full of adrenaline and training, we slowed things down for one of the most important parts of the camp. Under the evening sky, our participants gathered for Vent and Vibe, a dedicated space for honest conversations and open hearts.
In this circle, emotions were heard, stories were shared, and every feeling was validated. Itโs a reminder that while we are here to learn and lead, we are also here to support one another as a family. There is immense strength in vulnerability, and tonight, our Mandauehanon youth proved that their bonds go deeper than just activities.

No rest for the determined! Right after a quick lunch break, our participants went straight into the high-intensity Zero Visibility Training, led by the experts from the Mandaue City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MCDRRMO).
This session was all about testing composure and coordination under pressure. Our youth learned vital life-saving skills, navigating through challenging scenarios where sight was limited and teamwork was the only way through. Itโs not just about the "Fiesta" spirit, it's about building a resilient and prepared Mandauehanon youth!
A huge thank you to MCDRRMO for equipping our campers with the knowledge and bravery to handle any situation. The afternoon heat was no match for the focus and dedication shown by everyone!

The wait is finally over! Our morning kicked off with high energy as the Mandaue City Summer Youth Camp 2026 officially commenced with a vibrant parade that filled the air with excitement.
From the colorful march to our opening program, the spirit of the Pinas Fiesta is definitely alive here at the Ramon M. Durano Sr. Foundation! To break the ice and start building new friendships, our participants dived straight into their Get To Know You (GTKY) activities, turning strangers into a community in no time.
Itโs only the first morning, but the bonds are already forming and the growth has begun. We can't wait to see what the rest of the day holds for our Mandauehanon youth!
