Beyond the discussions, today’s 18th SK Federation Meeting reaffirmed our shared commitment to helping every Sangguniang Kabataan Council fulfill its duties and responsibilities. 🤝
With the postponement of the upcoming SK elections, we recognize the importance of using this extended period productively—not simply waiting for the next election cycle, but ensuring that every SK Council remains accountable, prepared, and compliant with its obligations.
Among the key matters discussed were the Internal Rules of Procedure for Federation Officers, annual budget formulation and review, liquidation obligations, SK self-audit, allowance status, and LNK compliance.
The Mandaue City Youth Development Office (MCYDO) continues to play an important role in assisting the SK Federation of Mandaue City in addressing these responsibilities, providing guidance and support to help ensure that our SK Councils are informed, equipped, and guided in fulfilling their respective obligations.
Our goal is clear: no SK Council should be left behind. Let us make the most of this extended term by strengthening accountability, enhancing our capacity to serve, and continuing to deliver meaningful programs for the youth of Mandaue City.
Together with the MCYDO, let us turn this period into an opportunity for better governance, stronger collaboration, and more responsive youth leadership.
