To continue providing efficient public service to workers, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) moved to simplify the Alien Employment Permit (AEP) application process and streamline frontline services.

Narito ang mga gabay ng DOLE sa pag-iwas at pamamahala ng heat stress sa mga lugar ng trabaho sa panahon ng El Niño at iba pang panahon ng matinding init, alinsunod sa Labor Advisory No. 20, Series of 2026.
Kabilang dito ang pagsusuri sa mga panganib dulot ng init, angkop na iskedyul ng trabaho at pahinga batay sa heat index, sapat na inuming tubig at pahingahan, at paghahanda sa mga emergency upang mapangalagaan ang kalusugan at kaligtasan ng mga manggagawa.

MAY KOMPENSASYON SA MGA SAKIT NA DULOT NG MATINDING INIT SA TRABAHO!

Sa ilalim ng Labor Advisory No. 19, Series of 2026, maaaring makatanggap ng kompensasyon ang mga kwalipikadong manggagawang nagkaroon ng work-related heat illnesses sa panahon ng El Niño at matinding init.

Alamin kung anong mga karamdaman ang maaaring saklaw, sino ang kwalipikado, at paano maghain ng claim sa SSS o GSIS.

In support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s employment agenda and the efforts of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Francis N. Tolentino to expand access to employment opportunities, DOLE MIMAROPA and Occidental Mindoro State University (OMSU) formalized their partnership for the establishment of a Job Placement Office (JPO) through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signed on October 5, 2026, at the OMSU Main Campus in Labangan, San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.

The MOA was signed by OMSU President Dr. Elbert C. Edaniol and witnessed by Dr. Veronica C. Ferrer, Dean of Student Affairs and Services and JPO Designate; Gener L. Francisco, DOLE Occidental Mindoro Provincial Head; and Jessa G. Benoza, Labor and Employment Officer III and unit head of the Employment Facilitation Unit.

Naglabas ang Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) ng Labor Advisory No. 18, Series of 2026, ukol sa tamang pasahod sa mga empleyado sa mga sumusunod na araw:

Nobyembre 1 – All Saints’ Day
Nobyembre 2 – All Souls’ Day
Nobyembre 30 – Bonifacio Day

Hinihikayat ang mga employer at manggagawa na alamin at sundin ang itinakdang patakaran sa holiday pay upang matiyak ang tamang sahod at pagsunod sa mga batas sa paggawa.

𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞 ₱𝟒.𝟐𝟔𝐌 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐁𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬

In line with the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to strengthen rural livelihoods, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), under the leadership of Secretary Francis N. Tolentino, turned over ₱4.264 million worth of agricultural equipment to two local farmers' associations at the Rizal Municipal Grounds on September 24, 2026.

Funded under the DOLE Kabuhayan Program, the livelihood assistance benefited 130 member-farmers from the Sitio Simbahan Farmers and Planters’ Association in Barangay Manoot and the Napuid Barangay Rumbang Farmers and Fisherfolks Association in Barangay Rumbang.

Each association received a brand-new, four-wheel-drive farm tractor equipped with a rotary tiller, disc harrow, and front loader. The new machinery aims to transition local farmers to mechanized agricultural operations, significantly reducing manual labor and rental costs during land preparation.

Bilang pagpapakita ng paninindigan sa tapat at mahusay na serbisyo publiko, lumagda ang mga kawani sa Pledge of Commitment at nakibahagi sa Lingkod Bayani Commitment Wall.
