• LPA: Namataan 585 km silangan ng Borongan City, Eastern Samar. Ang trough nito ay nagdudulot ng posibilidad ng pag-ulan sa Palawan, Visayas, at Mindanao.

• Shear Line: Nakaaapekto sa silangang bahagi ng Northern at Central Luzon, na maaaring magdala ng mga pag-ulan.

• Amihan: Nakaaapekto sa natitirang bahagi ng Northern Luzon.

• Super Typhoon IN-FA: Nasa labas ng PAR, 2,935 km silangan ng Northern Luzon, na may lakas ng hangin na 185 km/h at pagbugsong 230 km/h.

A total of 𝗮 𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 representing different Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) offices across #𝗢𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗼 took part in the training.

The course aimed to enhance the participants’ 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲, strengthening their readiness to respond to medical emergencies and disaster-related incidents.

Through this training, the participants took another step toward becoming 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀, committed to 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

Empowering Barangay Officials to Save Lives!

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟯–𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of San Jose conducted a 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 (𝗕𝗟𝗦) 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗮𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 for 𝟮𝟱 𝗯𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟭–𝟴.

The two-day training aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical skills in responding to medical emergencies, including performing 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗣𝗥), recognizing life-threatening conditions, and providing immediate assistance to individuals experiencing cardiac arrest or other emergencies.

The activity reinforced the importance of 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in saving lives.

Through this initiative, barangay officials are better prepared to respond to emergencies and provide immediate assistance while waiting for professional medical responders.
