The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Accreditation Team, led by Miss Ma. Paula S. Gallardo, RSW, conducted an accreditation assessment in the Municipality of Lanuza, Surigao del Sur, as part of the continuing efforts to ensure quality early childhood care and development services.

The activity aimed to assess the compliance of Child Development Centers with established ECCD standards, particularly in terms of learning environments, facilities, program implementation, child development services, and the delivery of age-appropriate learning experiences.

Through this assessment, the team sought to identify areas for improvement, strengthen the capacities of Child Development Centers, and promote a safe, nurturing, inclusive, and child-friendly environment that supports the holistic growth and development of young children

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), represented by Persons with Disability Affairs Officer I (PDAO I), Ms. Stephanie Grace L. Paradero, participated in the Capacity Building cm Kumustahan on Disability Affairs and Inclusive Development held in Butuan City, alongside Persons with Disabilities Affairs Officers and Focal Persons from various local government units.

The activity aimed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and competencies of PDAO officers and focal persons in promoting disability rights, social inclusion, and equal access to government programs and services. It also served as a platform for sharing best practices, discussing challenges in implementing disability-related policies, and strengthening coordination among stakeholders to ensure responsive and inclusive service delivery.

Through this engagement, the PSWDO reaffirmed its commitment to empowering persons with disabilities, promoting their rights and welfare, and advancing inclusive development by ensuring their meaningful participation in community activities, decision-making processes, and development initiatives throughout the Province of Surigao del Sur.

The Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Surigao del Sur successfully held its Team Building Activity on October 22–25, 2026, filled with laughter, meaningful connections, shared experiences, and unforgettable memories.

Beyond the fun and excitement, the activity provided an opportunity to strengthen teamwork, foster camaraderie, build trust, and recharge from the demands of public service.

We are grateful for the incessant support of our Provincial Governor Johnny T. Pimentel to social welfare and development. We likewise appreciate the guidance of our PSWDO Hershe L. Nuñez, RSW, in making this activity a success.

Another meaningful step toward ensuring quality early childhood education and development!

The Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Assessment continues in Tandag City, Surigao del Sur, highlighting the Provincial Government's commitment to strengthening the delivery of responsive, inclusive, and child-friendly ECCD services.

Through the dedicated efforts of the assessment team headed by Miss Ma. Paula S. Gallardo, RSW, the activity aims to evaluate the functionality of Child Development Centers, assess compliance with established ECCD standards, identify areas for improvement, and promote the overall well-being and holistic development of young children.

Beyond assessing facilities and program implementation, this initiative recognizes the invaluable dedication of Child Development Workers in nurturing young minds and laying the foundation for lifelong learning.

Through the continuing efforts of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO), in collaboration with the City Government of Tandag and other stakeholders, we reaffirm our shared responsibility to provide every child with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

From coordinating the details to ensuring everything is ready, the team's commitment and collaborative spirit reflect their dedication to making the occasion meaningful, organized, and memorable.

More than just preparations, these behind-the-scenes efforts demonstrate the passion and teamwork that make every successful event possible.

Yesterday, October 20, 2026, marked the second day of the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) Assessment in the Municipality of Madrid, Surigao del Sur.

The assessment continued to focus on evaluating the quality of services, learning environments, facilities, and program implementation of Child Development Centers, ensuring that young learners receive nurturing, safe, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate care and education.

Beyond assessing compliance with established standards, the activity also provided an opportunity to recognize the dedication of Child Development Workers and identify areas for continuous improvement in early childhood service delivery.

Every assessment is a step toward stronger Child Development Centers, empowered Child Development Workers, and a brighter future for every child. 💙

Moral Recovery and Spiritual Development Activity for our Former Rebels✨

Another activity successfully conducted for the welfare of our FRs. We are grateful for the continued efforts of our Provincial Government headed by our Provincial Governor Johnny T. Pimentel for this sustained undertakings.

We also recognize our dedicated ECLIP focal person, Xeeremae Maquiling, RSW, together with Laila H. Salabit, RSW, Shandy M. Malooy, and also to our PSWDO Hershe L. Nuñez, RSW, for their perseverance and passion in making this activity a success.
