LOOK | Assault Armor Battalion, Fun Bike and Clean-Up Drive
On 27 April 2026, personnel of the Assault Armor Battalion, led by LT COL MARIA ROWENA A MUYUELA PN(M), Commanding Officer, AABN, successfully conducted a Fun Bike and Clean-Up Drive in Brgy. Beddeng, San Narciso, Zambales.
This initiative was held in line with the 54th Armor Day Celebration, underscoring the Battalion’s commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. The activity also included a meaningful dialogue with the Punong Barangay of Brgy. Beddeng, Mr. Edcel D Abinsay followed by the presentation of a Plaque of Appreciation in recognition of the local government’s continued support.
Beyond enhancing operational readiness, the Battalion remains steadfast in promoting discipline, teamwork, and strong civil-military relations, strengthening the bond between the Philippine Marines and the communities they serve.

LOOK | Donning of Ranks Ceremony
On 06 April 2026, the Assault Armor Battalion initiated the Donning of Ranks Ceremony for its enlisted personnel at the Rear Command Post, Assault Armor Battalion, Marine Base Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The ceremony was presided over by LT COL RYAN G FRIVALDO PN(M), Executive Officer, Assault Armor Battalion, on behalf of LT COL MARIA ROWENA A MUYUELA PN(M), Commanding Officer, Assault Armor Battalion. The event was also joined by participants via VTC platform as all members witness and celebrate the significant milestone of the unit.
This occasion symbolizes not only the recognition of professional growth but also the deeper responsibility entrusted to these Marines as they continue to uphold the values of honor, courage, and commitment in service to the nation.
Likewise, the battalion extend its warmest congratulations to all the newly promoted personnel, may their achievements inspire excellence and strengthen the proud legacy of the Assault Armor Battalion.

LOOK II Ceremonial Signing of Memorandum of Collaboration on the Armor Crew Training Simulator Development Project
On 20 March 2026, a ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Collaboration for the Armor Crew Training Simulator Development Project was held at the Villamor Golf Club, Colonel Jesus Villamor Air Base, Sales Road, Pasay City 1309, Metro Manila, Philippines
The event signifies a milestone in advancing the technological capabilities of the Combat Support Brigade and the Assault Armor Battalion, strengthening collaboration between the Philippine Marine Corps, GigaMare, Inc., and Sandata Industries Corporation.
The ceremony was graced by Mr. Jari Ullakonoja, President & CEO of GigaMare, Inc.; Mr. Walden Tantuico, Chairman of GigaMare, Inc.; Ms. Chenee Olesco, Marketing Head of GigaMare, Inc.; Mr. Alvin Dela Cruz, Head of Operations of Sandata Industries Corporation; BGEN ARMANDO B. 📷LOOK II AABN Women’s Month Celebration
On 20 March 2026, the Assault Armor Battalion proudly marked the Women’s Month Celebration with the theme “We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society” at the RCP, Assault Armor Battalion, Marine Barracks Rudiardo Brown, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City.
The event led by LT COL MARIA ROWENA A MUYUELA PN(M), Commanding Officer of Assault Armor Battalion, highlighting the Battalion’s commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
The activity was graced by Attorney Christine C. Lachica, wherein, she delivered an insightful lecture on the Safe Spaces Act (RA11313), also known as the “Bawal Bastos Law.”
Following the lecture, she provided free legal consultation for all personnel aboard RCP and extended her expertise via VTC, ensuring wider participation and access to valuable guidance.

FILIPINO MARINE OFFICER EARNS INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION IN AUSTRALIA
Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City — A Filipino Marine officer has brought pride to the Corps and the nation.
Major Bobby Gabayno PN(M) received a Commanding Officer’s Commendation in Australia for his exemplary service as Philippine Seconded Officer at the Defence International Training Centre from November 2023 to November 2025.
He demonstrated exceptional professionalism, leadership, and dedication throughout his assignment. On 05 October 2025, while serving as Duty Seconded Officer, he further distinguished himself during a life-threatening incident, responding with calm, decisive action that ensured effective emergency management.
His recognition reflects both his personal excellence and the world-class standards of the Philippine Marine Corps.
