On the directions of deputy commissioner East, various examination centers were visited by Assistant Commissioners of district East to review the ongoing exams of SSC Part-I and II.

Deputy Commissioner East, Nasrullah Abbasi inaugurated the (NID) polio campaign on 13-04-2026 which will last until April, 19. The campaign aimed at protecting every child under age 5 from poliovirus.

deputy Commissioner II East visited Central Jail Karachi along with delegation of District Human Rights Committee, representatives from Health, Education and Social Welfare department to ensure the compliance with EU GSP plus requirements, noting much satisfaction with Human rights measures and observed problems faced by inmates

deputy Commissioner-II East.

On the directions of Deputy Commissioner East, various properties have been sealed in District East on account of continous non- compliance to fire safety measures.

The government of Sindh has intensified ongoining operation to deport illegal and undocumented Afghan Nationals residing illegally in Sindh. In this regard, Government of Sindh urges all residents of Sindh province to extend cooperation by reporting any suspicious/undocumented person or activity by dialing 15.
