🎓 Celebrating Achievements, Embracing New Possibilities

On 29 October , BCA Academy will celebrate the achievements of 484 graduands across our Diploma and Specialist Diploma programmes.

As we count down to the Graduation Ceremony 2026, we also celebrate how their learning translate into real career opportunities and professional growth.

For our Integrated Work-Study Diploma (IWSD) graduates, industry-relevant learning provides a strong foundation for entering the Built Environment sector. Our latest Graduate Employment Survey recorded encouraging outcomes, with 100% overall employment rate, a median monthly salary of $3,300, and 97% of employed graduands receiving job offers within three months of completing their studies.

For our Specialist Diploma graduates, it's about growing and progressing in their careers. More than half experienced job progression from taking on new responsibilities to securing promotions or new career opportunities, and 99% developed new job skills.

Behind these numbers are individuals who have embraced learning, gained new capabilities and taken meaningful steps towards their career goals.

To all our Class of 2026, congratulations! We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you tomorrow, and seeing where your journeys take you next.

Sparking Curiosity, Inspiring Future Possibilities

“What does an Architect really Do?” “Are the Working Hours very long?” “Do Architects Earn a Lot?” “Do we pay more for complex designs?”

💡 These were some of the questions raised by a group of Secondary 2 students to their guest speaker, Ar. Colin Chew, our Senior Lecturer and Registered Architect at the Yusof Ishak Secondary School’s (YISS) Career Day.

Ar. Colin Chew shared his life journey from his Secondary School days to being an professional architect and the importance of sustainability in shaping our built environment.

What made the session meaningful was the enthusiastic participation and candid questions from the students. From architectural design and urban planning to the realities of the profession and future career pathways, their curiosity sparked engaging conversations about the people, ideas and considerations behind the spaces we live, work and play in.

🌱At BCA Academy, we believe that early exposure to the industry can broaden perspectives and inspire young people to discover where their interests may lead them. Keen to find out more about our programmes? Join us at our Open House 2027. Stay tuned for more details.

🔧 What does it take to become workplace-ready?

For BCA Academy's Integrated Work-Study Diploma (IWSD) student Muhammad Nur Dini Bin Irwan, his industry attachment with Certis Integrated Facilities Management offered more than technical exposure to tunnel operations.

Beyond developing technical skills, Dini also built confidence, discipline and the ability to work effectively with others, qualities that matter in any professional environment.

As we celebrate BCA Academy's Graduation 2026, we celebrate how experience like Dini’s help our students grow into capable, both professionally and personally.

We were delighted to meet students from Foon Yew High School across its Johor Bahru, Kulai and Seri Alam campuses, as well as Chong Hwa High School in Kluang, during our recent education fairs in Malaysia. 🇲🇾

It was encouraging to speak with students as they explored their interests, considered their post-secondary pathways, and learnt more about studying in Singapore. Many were curious about the Built Environment (BE) sector and the diverse career opportunities it offers.

At BCA Academy, our diploma programmes combine industry-relevant knowledge with practical learning and close industry partnerships, equipping students with the skills and experience to thrive in the BE sector.

We look forward to welcoming more students from Malaysia to our diverse learning community and supporting them as they take the next step towards a rewarding future.

🌿 Learning Beyond the Classroom 🌿

Sunshine, teamwork, nature challenges, and plenty of discoveries. Our Green Club students traded their desks for the forest trail and embarked on an unforgettable learning adventure at Lower Peirce Reservoir. ☀️🥾🌿📸

Working in teams, they took on a nature discovery challenge, exploring the outdoors while having plenty of fun along the way.

As future stewards of our environment, they explored how Singapore's built environment and natural ecosystems coexist, helping them envision a greener and more sustainable future. 🌱💚
