πΈ Hope In Bloom Charity Luncheon for HCSA SPIN πΈ
What a meaningful afternoon of stories, inspiration and community spirit as supporters, partners and friends gathered to uplift single-parent families through HCSA SPIN.
Our emcee, Kimberly Anne Tan, welcomed our guests with an introduction to HCSA SPIN and the important work of empowering single parents and their children through social support, practical resources and a caring community.
We were privileged to have Mayor Denise Phua Lay Peng as our Guest-of-Honour, who honoured the courage and resilience of single parents who navigate the demands of caregiving and providing for their families every day.
Jeanne, Head of HCSA SPIN, shared about the programme's beginnings and reflected on a particularly moving full-circle moment: one of the single parents she supported in the early days was present at the luncheon with her daughter β now one of the performers for the event.
The afternoon was further enriched by beautiful performances from SPIN beneficiaries Nicole and Lili, together with Karyn Wong ι»θ―ζ on the Smart Guitar.
We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to Richard Tan and Arina International Holdings Pte Ltd for their generous donation.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who contributed through your time, effort, partnership and generosity. Because of our collective support, we raised $243,000 to empower single-parent families and strengthen their futures.
Together, we can continue to create a community where no family walks alone.

HCSA Community Services is proud to launch an upcoming charity golf event in support of HCSA Dayspring, our signature programme that journeys alongside teenage girls healing from trauma, abuse and neglect.
Through trauma-informed care, counselling and a safe, structured environment, HCSA Dayspring empowers young trauma survivors to rebuild trust, confidence and hope for the future.
This upcoming golf event is more than a game β it is an opportunity for our community to come together in support of healing, dignity and second chances.
More details will be announced soon. We look forward to sharing this meaningful journey with you π
The past does not define the future.
At HCSA Community Services, we believe everyone deserves a chance to rebuild β from individuals reintegrating after incarceration, to those recovering from addiction, trauma survivors and single-parent families.
Everesting for Second Chances is a community movement that invites people from all walks of life to push their limits through cycling and running, while standing in support of vulnerable individuals rebuilding their lives.
From 1 June to 31 July 2026, participants will take on the challenge as a symbol of restoration, reconnection and reintegration.
Because every climb reflects the uphill journey towards hope and healing.
And every step forward helps someone else take theirs.
π΄ββοΈπββοΈ Challenge period: 1 June β 31 July 2026

Celebrating growth, partnership and purpose β one step at a time. π
At our recent STEP UP Mentorship workshop and awards ceremony, mentees took a bold step forward in their career journeys. Through a hands-on session on boosting productivity with AI, generously conducted by P&G, they gained practical tools to thrive in todayβs evolving workplace.
We also celebrated a meaningful milestone β recognising our 2025 mentees who have completed their mentorship journey. Each certificate represents resilience, courage and a commitment to building a better future.
This journey would not be possible without the strong support of our partners β P&G, A&O Shearman, and Tan Chin Tuan Foundation β whose dedication in providing workshops, funding and time continues to open doors for those we serve.
We are also deeply honoured by the presence of Mr Goh Pei Ming ε΄εΉι, Minister of State for Home Affairs and for Social and Family Development. Your presence affirms our shared mission to empower the vulnerable to find purpose for a more abundant life.
Together, we are not just mentoring β we are shaping futures, restoring confidence and building a community of hope.

During Good Friday, our former residents from HCSA Highpoint (AIMS) chose to spend their public holiday giving back β volunteering at Green Avenue, an old folksβ home.
Together with their wives (WISDOM), they spent time with the elderly residents β singing and dancing to oldies, sharing laughter, and even introducing Nagomi Art as a simple form of therapy and expression.
It was a small act, but a meaningful one.
We often see ex-offenders as individuals in need of support. But that day was a reminder β they are not just recipients of help. They can be contributors too.
Reintegration is not a destination. Itβs a journey.
From a negative past to a positive impact. From being seen as a liability to becoming an asset.
And this is what second chances truly look like β not just a life restored, but a life that now gives back to others.
πΏ A splash of colour. A story of growth. A space renewed.
This vibrant mural at HCSA SPIN brings more than beauty to the wall β it reflects the journeys of single-parent families we walk alongside every day. Like the citrus tree in full bloom, each stroke speaks of resilience, new beginnings and the quiet strength it takes to keep growing, even through lifeβs challenges.
At HCSA SPIN, we journey with single parents and their children to build stronger support networks and brighter futures β one step, one story, one bloom at a time.
Together, we can nurture spaces β and lives β that are full of hope. π

In the quiet moments between responsibilities, the weight of being both provider and caregiver often goes unseen.
For Sun Cuili, being a single parent means shouldering the financial responsibilities of her household while caring for the emotional well-being of her daughter. It is a journey that calls for strength, resilience and unwavering love.
At HCSA SPIN, we journey alongside single parents like Cuili β supporting them as they navigate these challenges and empowering them to build stronger, more stable futures for their families.
You can be someoneβs light in the dark too.

πΈ It takes a village to raise a child β and sometimes, to support a parent too.
For many single parents and lone caregivers, every day is a balancing act β providing, caring and holding their families together with strength and love. Through HCSA SPIN, they find a community that journeys with them, offering support, connection and hope as they build more stable futures.
This season, you can be part of that village.
Join us at **HCSA SPINβs Hope In Bloom Charity Luncheon** β where your presence becomes encouragement, and your support helps empower single parents and their children to thrive.
β¨ Be the village.
β¨ Be the support.
β¨ Be the hope.

Celebrating strength, purpose and the power of giving π
This International Womenβs Day 2026, we were honoured to be part of a meaningful event organised by the Women Entrepreneurship Committee of ACE.SG - Action Community for Entrepreneurship , centred on the theme βGive to Gainβ β a reminder that when we uplift others, we all grow together.
Held at the charming Temasek shophouse, the gathering brought together passionate individuals committed to creating impact. We are grateful for the opportunity to share about HCSA Community Services and the journeys of the individuals and families we serve β from teenage girls healing from trauma, to single-parent families building resilience, and individuals working towards a fresh start.
A heartfelt thank you to the organisers for creating this space for connection, reflection and purpose-driven conversations.
