📚 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten!

Our club is proud to fund early reading programs at our local libraries, and we’re grateful for the leadership of Larry Comunale and Rich Squilaro in supporting these efforts.

On September 23, Upper Dublin Public Library celebrated 20 impressive preschoolers who reached the amazing milestone of reading 1,000 books before kindergarten! The young readers and their families enjoyed a special celebration honoring their accomplishment and the benefits of reading—from building vocabulary and language skills to encouraging a lifelong love of books.

The Kiwanis Club of Ambler has sponsored UDPL’s reading celebrations and incentives for children at every level since 2017.

📬 New this year: Children who reach 100 books receive a surprise in the mail—a free book to encourage their reading and help build their home libraries!

Congratulations to these young readers and the families cheering them on! 💙
