The Kiwanis Club of Vulcan is happy to have Crystal Mullen-Johnson as speaker of our upcoming General Body Meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Alabama Power Headquarters.

Crystal Mullen-Johnson, LICSW-PIP, RPT, is the CEO and Founder of Strive Counseling Services, LLC, with locations in Birmingham and Demopolis, Alabama. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, she is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Private Independent Practitioner, and Registered Play Therapist. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Alabama A&M University. Crystal also serves as Founder and President of Nurture of Alabama, Inc., a nonprofit expanding access to counseling and support services for underserved communities. She is the author of 21 Day Journey to Strive for a Healthier You and has been featured in The Birmingham Times, About Town Magazine, Birmingham Business Journal, and AL.com. A recognized speaker and civic leader, Crystal is committed to building healthier, more resilient communities through mental health advocacy. She was selected to be in Leadership Birmingham 2026 class. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and enjoys journaling, traveling, golfing, and spending time with her son, Ethan, and their Labradoodle, Prince.
