🎉 Afterschool care is coming to Sugar Creek Charter School!

Dynamic Learning Academy will offer afterschool care for SCCS students during the 2026 to 2027 school year. The program will run daily from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and will include enrichment activities, homework assistance and opportunities for students to grow socially and personally.

The weekly fee is $80, with a sibling discount available. A $100 registration fee is required per student.

Please note that retesting for:
✏️ 3rd Grade Reading
🔬 5th Grade Science
🔬 8th Grade Science

will take place tomorrow, Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

Please help your scholar prepare by ensuring they:
💤 Get a good night’s sleep
🍎 Eat a healthy breakfast
⏰ Arrive to school on time

Sugar Creek Charter School will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

Both the Turner campus and J. Frank Martin campus will be closed. Students will return Tuesday, May 26, 2026.

As we return, please remember the following important updates:

🏃 Field Day
Tuesday, May 26: Third and fourth grades
Thursday, May 28: Kindergarten and EC grades

Students may wear their Field Day shirt or a regular T-shirt. Superhero themed shirts are preferred. Students should wear athletic shorts and athletic shoes. No sandals, clogs or swimsuits.

📝 EOG retesting will take place Thursday, May 28.

It’s a BIG academic week at The Creek 📚💙💛

From EOG testing to final exams, this week is all about showing what we’ve learned and finishing strong. Families, please help your scholar prepare each day with plenty of rest, a healthy breakfast, and on-time arrival so they can do their very best. Testing begins promptly at 9:00 AM ⏰

Important reminders: K–2 scholars will stay home May 18th–20th during testing and return Thursday, May 21st 🎉 High school scholars will also prepare for final exams this week.
