As we close out Community Action Month, CEDA is proud to celebrate something truly special at our Harvey location: the unveiling and ribbon cutting of a new community mural inspired and designed through the voices of our youth.

This mural is more than art on a wall. It is a reflection of strength, creativity, healing, pride, and hope. It reminds us that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow — they are visionaries, storytellers, and changemakers today.

With the theme “Stronger Together Through Every Generation,” this mural speaks across generations and brightens the community in a powerful way. It shows what is possible when youth are heard, valued, and given space to lead.

As CEDA continues our mission of empowering individuals, families, and communities facing poverty to secure a better quality of life, we are honored to help create spaces where community voices shine.

🎓 Through CEDA’s 2026 CSBG Scholarship Program, eligible students may qualify for up to $5,000 in scholarship assistance to support higher education goals.

🔧 Looking to build hands-on career skills instead?
CEDA’s Trade Skills Program may provide eligible households with up to $5,500 toward vocational training, certifications, tuition, and allowable materials for in-demand industries.

From construction trades to healthcare careers, we’re helping residents build pathways toward long-term economic independence and stability.
